Hey guys! I haven't done much, but I've done this:

I'm looking forward to coming home from France, because I'll finally have access to all my craft supplies! Then I can finally make the Europe-travelling scrapbook I've been dreaming of for 4 months...

and on thy cheek a fading rose.

I saw her
she had glowing pink hair
like an angelic alien species
a vision from a distant planet
she turned and her eyes flared
baring tiny sharp teeth and a guttural scream
she tried to crawl through the undergrowth
as the elements beat down upon her bare skin
legs mud streaked and covered in scratches
dress ragged and pixie like
I reached out to touch one skeletal arm
she flinched and arched her back protectively
the air crackled, daylight subdued
and suddenly grew brighter before
a fence appeared and the alien faerie child
climbed over with her delicate fawn like legs
I blinked hazily as she vanished
and I found myself standing in the middle of
a stark field with nothing but the thunder and rain pelting against
my wintry skin.

A little trip to London...

There's a tall black man who wears a tweed suit and a bow-tie standing on the corner of Airways and Lamar holding up bags of fruit in the morning. Apples and bananas, mostly. He may wear glasses. I've never seen him sell something. It's one of those things. You see someone you think you understand. Why do you want to be friends with them? Be friends with me on Facebook, the Jungian realm of shadows and projection. I don't deal fruit, I spilled applesauce all down my new blouse today. Actually, it's an old blouse, but I never had the nerve to wear it before today. That'll teach me. I'm cleanin' up my act.

3) and he knows EVERYTHING ABOUT ANCIENT SCIENCE

5) did i mention it's on motherfucking ANCIENT GREEK MATHEMATICS

Hello all! I was a member before but under a different username. I've been away from journaling for a while and want to get back into it, actually just started a new one last night, forgot how relaxing and fun it can be. Pictures to come but the reason I'm posting today is because I saw this the other day and the first thing it made me think of was this community. So what kind of journaler are you?

www.moleskinerie.com/2009/12/open.html

I'm formal, free form, collager, self-actualizer, self-defeating, and cheap (I use picadilly knockoffs).

oh no it's me again whyyyyy

electric heaters.

  • Dec. 14th, 2009 at 4:11 PM
So, me and my Guy spread our wings and moved out together October just gone. We're lucky enough to have an amazing space with the most relaxed landlord ever and are pretty much allowed to do as we please.
We're in the midst of making our place a saucy haven but we have these god-ugly electic heaters as our radiators.

I'm just all out of ideas on what to do with them. The previous tenant also had the bright idea of putting their jeans on the one in the hallway and left a blue stain all over the top of it, so I would rather not look at it all the time. I was thinking about a cover for them, but I'm unsure on how to go about doing it? Or a sort of 'bridge' shape over them?

Have any of you guys had similar issues? We've got a decent amount of space around each one to do something with it so any suggestions would be fab!

Heaters under the cut. :D

Any help would be much appriciated!

who am i crushing on this week!

Name: Matthew Gray Gubler
Occupation: Actor, Director, Artist, Nerd, Former Model
Status: I’m not sure about now, but he used to date Kat Dennings?!?! (this pleases me greatly, as this proves I have a chance, being younger (though, not as young as Ms. Dennings) and of – er – “healthy” body type)
Most known for: playing über-genius Dr. Spencer Reid on Criminal Minds (it’s on four million times a day on the ION Television channel, if you’re looking to catch up)
Recently known for: being all cute and taken and shit as Paul, Tom’s friend, in (500) Days of Summer
Up next: according to IMDB, he’ll voice Young Prince Flynn in Rapunzel, and play a dude named Mok in Bud, Idaho in 2010 (he was also in a movie called Pornstar out this year? Did I miss that?)
Why you crushin’?: I mean, the dude’s so adorable, I couldn’t even decide which picture to use. I followed him on Twitter before I even really saw any of his work, because he seemed so charming. I’ve recently taken to DVR and recorded hundreds of hours of Criminal Minds (that’s almost a lie, but I am becoming pretty stressed out from all of my marathons; pretty sure I will be killed at a moment’s notice), and I plan to rewatch The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou with him in mind (he plays Intern #1!). Uh, I don’t know what else to say. Oh wait, his website is also cute.

I had to go back and edit this because I forgot to add any actual info! I'm oracle_me, and I live in Toronto, Canada. I'm actually moving to a loft next weekend, but I wanted to take some quick pictures of my current bedroom - hence the terrible quality! I've been in this house for just under a year, but never really felt entirely settled here. It's a restored, Edwardian period house in the east end of the city, hence the fantastic, high ceilings. One of the great things about this room is that the entire south wall - the one you can't see - is closet space, lined with cedar. Pretty amazing. Anyways, hope you enjoy the pics; I've loved peeking in at yours ;-)

I've posted my room to [info]iheartmyroom before after I had it redecorated a few months ago as a
graduation present, but I thought I'd post it here as well so you guys can see what it looks like now!
Hope you enjoy.
